Index files, folders, programs, and website history: You would have heard of indexing files and folders. RecentX Launcher can also be accessed using hotkeys.

Finds in recent items first: Most often we open the same files & folders again and again. For this very reason, RecentX Launcher, instead of listing down all the files and folders on your system, lists down just the recently accessed files and folders. This saves a lot of time compared to searching the complete hard drive. This makes launching easier now that important items are shown before other trivial items.

Note: Alternatively, you can even search in all items instead of the recent ones.

Conveniently access clipboard history: RecentX remembers all the text & images that you copy to the clipboard. It keeps track of items as old as 6 months to a year and as new as something copied an hour back or a day back. Just pick them directly from RecentX when needed, instead of copy-pasting the same things repeatedly. This is simple and a real time saver. What more? You can even tag the clipboard history items to access them faster the next time.

Copy file shortcuts in Copywhiz for Windows

When you try to copy file shortcuts in Copywhiz, instead of the shortcut, the specific destination file appears in the queue. Even if you try filtering the files to only copy files of a particular type or extension(of the shortcut), this does not change. This is a small limitation when you choose Shortcut files directly from the Copywhiz menu.

We have a quick workaround for this, which is explained in the post.

Title in Notezilla sticky notes

By default, the first sentence of a sticky note is treated as the title of the note. When you type your note, the title is not displayed because the first sentence is anyway displayed as part of the sticky note.

If you want to add your own title, right-click on the note title/toolbar and choose ‘Add Title’ from the menu. You can also press F2 to add/edit the title.

You can also have a date displayed along with the note title of your Notezilla sticky note. The date can be of the note created or last modified.

In the Notezilla Preferences menu, open the Note Tab, which is next to the General Tab, and then select the option, “Show date along with note title.”

In Notezilla, the note title helps you to quickly identify the right sticky note without actually reading through its content. Also, if the sticky note is rolled up or locked, the title is the only way to identify the sticky note.

It thus saves a lot of your time and effort and makes your sticky note experience productive.

It sends sticky notes via the cloud. The advantage here is that your contact need not have his/her computer ON to receive the sticky note. You can send the sticky note even when the contact is offline.

Receiving sticky notes

The sticky note will pop up directly on the receiving desktop, phone, or other devices.

You can reply to the contact directly from the sticky note itself by clicking on the “Contact” icon, which is the very first icon on the top of the note.
