Select the file you want to add tags. Ex: If you want to add a tag to the file, “Insurance claim.txt.”
Right click on the file and see the tag option. Add the tag. You can add multiple tags too.
You can thus save a lot of time in searching for files. Just search for the tag and all files having the particular tag will be listed.
Editing and deleting tags is equally simple. Right-click on the particular tag under the search box to edit or delete it.
If you use the same word repeatedly for your files, you can add smart tags to them. Smart tags are nothing but “saved keywords” so that you don’t have to type the same word each time. Ex: “.PDF” can be a keyword for all your PDF files.

Here is how you can do this:

Open the RecentX window and search for the file(s) you want to copy. It will be easier to search if you have added tags to them since you can search faster by tags than file name.
Copy the required files all at once.
Select the destination folder from the folders list.
Right click on the desired folder and select “Paste here.” The files will be instantly copied there which you can verify.
To rename a file, right-click on the particular file among the list and select “Rename” or press “F2”. It will be instantly renamed wherever it is located.
If you want to delete a file, right-click on it and select “Remove.” The file will be deleted automatically from the place it is located.

Why .zip files?
Compressing files into a .zip file is very useful to reduce the size of the whole file set. Zipping files mean that you are reducing the size of your original data into a smaller size. Using Copywhiz
Select the files from the source folder and right-click on them and choose Copywhiz–>Copy as shown below:
Right-click inside the destination folder where you wish to create your first .zip file and select Copywhiz–>Paste Advanced:
Copywhiz window will open with the destination folder already selected. Here you need to select ‘Paste as compressed .zip file’ option from the drop-down (under Paste tab) and then add multiple .zip file locations. Separate each file with a comma (,).
If you don’t want to type them manually, you can click on the ‘Add’ option next to the box. This option lets you browse to a destination folder and specify a .zip file name. This feature ensured that you create the file in the right place.
Click on ‘Paste Now’ and it will automatically create .zip files at all those folders you specified.
You can cross-check by clicking on the file icon next to the dialogue box. It will open the destination folders for you. All your files would have been copied there.
