We will explore how Filezo makes copying, renaming and deleting files innovative and fun! With Filezo it’s very easy to search for a file or folder where we want to make any changes. It skips several unnecessary steps and makes file copy/rename/delete operations super quick!

Normally, copying, renaming or deleting files using a file manager such as Windows File Explorer is quite tedious. We need to open source folder and destination folder and then copy one by one. But Filezo here is going to save us a lot of time.

Copy, rename, delete files using Filezo

Here is a short video showing how this works:

1. Open the Files tab in Filezo.
2. Let’s search for files with the keyword “Budget”.
3. We will copy couple of files from this list. Notice that the files belong to different source folders.
4. Right click and copy them.
5. Let’s simply switch to the folders tab in Filezo, pick the destination folder, right-click, and paste.
6. Let’s double-click on the folder to check the files and here they are.
7. We will now rename a file using Filezo.
8. Search for the file in the Files tab, right-click, and select Rename. That’s it.
9. Deleting files is just as simple. Right click on the file and select delete. And it’s done.

Filezo lets you take a quick shortcut, skipping several steps, to do the same thing. Apart from these functions, you can use the standard Windows File Explorer menu too from within Filezo to access advanced File Explorer plug-ins. Filezo makes things fast and fun!

This post will tell us how to attach/share files quickly using Filezo app for Windows.

When we have to attach files to an email we have to look into various folders to select the file. We have to keep the note of the path of the file located.

Finding and sharing files quickly in Windows

1. Open the email tab.
2. We will attach a file to this email using Filezo.
3. Open the ‘Files’ tab in Filezo and search for the file.
4. Now just drag and drop this file over the email. And it’s done.
5. Next we will see how to drag and drop a folder to Google drive.
6. Click on the ‘Folders’ tab and search for the folder.
7. Drag and drop this folder to Google drive. That’s it.

Without walking through the tedious folder path, we can easily access our files and folders using Filezo. This is how it saves a lot of your time and efforts.

Filezo integrates with the File open/save dialog

Here is a short video showing how this works:

1. Open the app Notepad app.
2. Choose File / Open menu and we can see that the Filezo app opens along with the File open/save dialog on your Windows PC.
3. Search and select the file inside Filezo.
4. The file is automatically selected in the File open/save window.
5. Go ahead and open the selected file.
6. Next we will open the Folders tab in Filezo.
7. Jump to any folder you want just by selecting that folder inside Filezo.
8. Name your document and save it.
9. If you don’t want the Filezo window to show automatically along with the File open/save dialog, we will disable the option from Settings panel as shown in the video.

Not just files, you can use Filezo to open folders too. You need to follow the same steps again, and the folder will open within a few seconds. This is how it saves a lot of your time and efforts.
