Do we need to re-tag all files after the transfer to a new computer in RecentX

Question

I am using RecentX to quickly find a file/folder on my system. I am tagging my files/folders.
An important question: What do I have to do when I transfer all my file system to a new computer? Do I have to re-tag all my files?

Are tag conserved by backups?

Ensure that the folder structure and drive letter (C: D: etc) are same on the new computer also. Then you will be able to simply copy all RecentX data files to the new computer which will include all your tags.

Here is how you access RecentX data: Open the folder %appdata%\Conceptworld\RecentX in Windows Explorer (File Explorer). To do this, copy this path %appdata%\Conceptworld\RecentX and run from the start menu or open in Windows Explorer.
