Every time I reboot my laptop and then open the Notes Browser I get a notice that the trial period has ended and I need to enter the activation key. I do that and  Notezilla  shows that it is registered. But then the process starts over again the next time I reboot. How do I fix this issue?

It appears that  Notezilla  doesn't have permission to write to the folder where portable version is installed.

Go to the portable folder, right click on  Notezilla .exe and run as administrator. After running as administrator, activate the product again using the same method you used earlier. Once you do this,  Notezilla  portable will not ask for activation key again.

I have it installed on an external hard drive. I executed the procedure you suggested and it seems to have worked.
