Tags help you group a set of files, folders or clips. You can categorize them based on projects, contexts etc using Filezo on Windows.

Before creating a new tag, ensure that the tags pane is open. To open the tags pane, choose the View / Tags pane menu option.

To create a new tag click on the + button on the tags pane.

Filezo also supports hierarchical tags. To create a child tag, right click on an existing tag and choose New from the menu. Also, you can use the same menu to edit an existing tag or delete it.

Automatically create tags when assigning them

When you assign a new tag directly to a file or folder, it is created automatically with the default tag color.
