Saving and using text & pictures copied to Clipboard in Windows using RecentX.

This video will tell you how to re-use(Copy or paste) items copied to a clipboard using the new Clipboard History Manager of RecentX.

What is RecentX?

RecentX has a clipboard history manager that remembers all the text and images that you copy to clipboard on Windows. You can thus paste them whenever needed. Unlike the normal copy and paste, the older item is not lost.

See how this is possible:

  • Open the Clipboard window of RecentX. All the text or images you previously copied will be listed.
  • For Ex. If you copy a file from any place in your system, RecentX will immediately note what you copied and keep a record in the Clipboard window.
  • The same applies to images copied too.
  • If you want to paste the file you copied a long time (say, a month) ago, you can directly go to the clipboard window and Copy it from there. You don’t have to search for the file in your system anymore.
  • If there are files you frequently copy and paste, add tags to them to locate them easily.
  • Now paste it in the required place.
  • You can even drag and drop the file if you don’t want to do the above.
  • This is how RecentX can save a lot of time and efforts in the File Copy/Paste process.
