When editing a sticky note, you can either use the Standard editor or the Markdown editor.
Standard editor: This is the default editor. It allows direct rich text editing like the older versions of Notezilla used to support. You can edit fonts, text size, text color, text styles etc.
However, the disadvantage here is that notes edited using the standard editor would appear as 'Plain text' inside Notezilla's phone apps for Android and iPhone.
Markdown editor: This editor allows markdown based text editing. Example: **Bold text** would appear as Bold text. Similarly there are other ways to format text, bullets, numbering, tables, hyperlinks, headings, text highlighting.
The major advantage is that Notezilla's phone apps for Android and iPhone support markdown based text formatting and editing.
Just right click inside the sticky note and choose 'Switch to Markdown editor' or 'Switch to Standard editor' from the popup menu to switch between the editors.
