Improved

• Added 'Preferences' to the right click NoteZilla menu.

Fixed

• Sometimes, it was impossible to type or select anything in the 'Advanced Find' pane or the 'Memoboards' pane. This has been fixed.

• When sending of a sticky note over network failed, it was not possible to close the error message window using a mouse. The user had to use the Esc key to close. This has been fixed.

• The date format was always reset to MM/dd/yy in Preferences. This has been fixed.

• When importing some notes, NoteZilla showed an irrelevant error. This has been fixed.

• If a reminder message is unattended, it will flash every 10 minutes in the taskbar.

• "Show reminder message 'x' minutes earlier" did not work. This has been fixed.

• Migrating from Quick Notes Plus 4.0 to NoteZilla 7.0 generated duplicate notes. This has been fixed.

• Sometimes, when a sticky note was sent from one computer to another, the latter received a blank note. This has been fixed.

• Logging off a remote desktop connection disabled the ability to receive newer notes on the host computer. This has been fixed.

• On Windows Vista, the reminder window did not appear properly, the first time. This has been fixed.

• When the system was restored from hibernation, the reminder window appeared black in color until resized. This has been fixed.

• NoteZilla did not run on systems having Data Execution Prevention (DEP) enabled (especially Windows Vista). This has been fixed.

• If the sticky note was locked, the reminder alert window did not allow snoozing & dismissing. This has been fixed.

• NoteZilla did not recognize computer names more than 14 characters. This has been fixed.

Fixed

• Palm Synchronization did not work on freshly installed Palm Desktop software. This has been fixed.

• When printing a desktop note, NoteZilla printed the note in current memoboard instead. This has been fixed.

• The reminder alert window showed the content of a note inside a locked memoboard. This has been fixed.

• When the reminder was set to repeat every nth weekday of the month, the reminder alert window popped up multiple times. This has been fixed.

Improved

• In the Sticky Note's text formatting menu, Cut/Copy/Paste items have been moved outside. It is no longer in a sub-menu. Bold/Italic/Strikethrough/Underline have been moved inside a sub-menu.

• File/Folder can be dragged and dropped on to a sticky note. This action inserts a hyperlink to that file/folder.

• The date format automatically detects the date separator (/ or - or anything else) from the system's regional settings.

• When double clicking on an item in the notes list of the Notes Browser, a rolled up note is rolled down so that the user doesn't have to take an extra step to roll down a note.

Fixed

• Undo/Redo weren't possible in note's title. This has been fixed.

• Sending a note to another user on same computer did not work properly if the user did not have administrator's privileges. This has been fixed.

• Registration code could not be entered if the user did not have administrator's privileges. This has been fixed.

• Ctrl+Shift+W caused the note to stick to the wrong window in Windows Vista. This has been fixed.

• The note toolbar did not  paint properly in Windows Vista. This has been fixed.

• Palm Synchronization failed on Windows Vista. This has been fixed.

• Sometimes the sticky note operations did not work after using the Find window on the top-right corner of the Notes Browser. This has been fixed.

• Palm Synchronization feature added. Notes can be synchronized with any Palm OS based device.

• Checklist capabilities added to sticky notes. Use "Bullets & Numbering" menu to enable this feature.

• Microsoft Outlook Synchronization Added. This feature will let you to transfer NoteZilla notes to your favorite PDA via Microsoft Outlook.

• Spell Checker added.

• Notes can be sent to another user on the same computer. Very useful for home computers.

• On finding notes, the text found is automatically selected inside each note.

• Added support for 24 hour date format.

• Added an option to show note toolbar on "Ctrl key + mouse hover". This means that you can have the toolbar always hidden until you press the Ctrl key and move the mouse over the note.

• The reminder alert window uses the note font and font size configured in Preferences.

• The note remains opaque when its scrollbar or toolbar are used.

• 'Assign Tags' option has been added to the note menu.

Fixed

• When the "Show window contents while dragging" setting of Windows operating system was disabled, sometimes, the note did not move when the note toolbar was moved. This has been fixed.

• Fixed a crash that occurred when moving a note to another memoboard by right clicking on the note title.

• A note stuck to a window hid automatically if font name or size was being typed in the note formatting menu. This has been fixed.

• Sometimes, importing notes from delimited file created blank notes. This has been fixed.

• Pressing F1 launched two instances of help document. This has been fixed.

• On few systems, NoteZilla crashed randomly. This has been fixed.

• The sticky notes did not stick to Outlook 2003 email message windows. This has been fixed.

• Pictures inside notes were removed when those notes were sent to another computer over LAN. This has been fixed.

• Overdue reminders with "Show reminder message" disabled, did not show in red color. This has been fixed.

Improved

• Option to disable note toolbar animation (Slide effect) added to Preferences->General Tab.

• In the Notes Browser, note's title can be edited just by clicking on the row twice, just like renaming files in Windows Explorer.

• The text formatting menu does not close when setting the font, font size & font color inside the note. This lets you to set the font, font size & font color at the same time. Moreover, the changes can be previewed inside the note before closing the menu.

• When migrating from Quick Notes Plus to NoteZilla, the title fonts are retained (Arial 8pt).

• The reminder sound stops playing if the reminder window is activated with the mouse.

• When the trash memoboard gets over-filled, it prompts the user if it can be emptied.

• It was difficult to resize the note from the top. This has been made better.

• The program prompts for new updates every 60 days.

Fixed

• Sometimes, new find queries did not refresh notes found in the previous query. This has been fixed.

• If no hotkey was set, the menus showed "None". This has been fixed.

• NoteZilla did not save the changes made just before shutting down the computer. This has been fixed.
